Project Support Officer

Are you a project support officer looking for your next opportunity? 

This is a permanent position to start in the new year. 

Due to the nature of the client we are working on behalf of, all applicants must be eligible for SC clearance. 


The successful candidate will be working on a large and complex programme of technological and business change within the organisation. 

Key responsibilities: 

Planning, control and reporting 
Sustainment and BAU transition 
Quality and configuration management 
Risk management and issue resolution 

Experience and qualifications 

Proven track record of providing support to complex and large projects within the public sector 
Prince2 or APM qualified 
Experienced in applying appropriate and differing methodologies/techniques to aid projects and maximise delivery success 
Experience of using project tools (i.e. MS Projects, Primevera) 
General administrative skills including the use of MS packages 

Personality Fit 

Good interpersonal skills, able to work with all levels within the programme team and multiple stakeholders with competing priorities 
Good communication and listening skills and the ability to deal with key project stakeholders 
Excellent organisational and administration skills
